Printing on Transparent media
At Testrite, we specialize in direct printing on clear materials such as acrylic and polycarbonate, offering solutions that combine visual impact with durability. Transparent materials create a modern, premium appearance and are ideal for retail signage, branded displays, wayfinding, and architectural applications. With in-house UV printing capabilities, we produce graphics with exceptional color, detail, and consistency.
First Surface Printing
With first surface printing, graphics are applied directly to the front of the material. This method delivers bold color and sharp detail, making it ideal for applications where immediate visual impact is important. The print sits on the outer surface, creating a crisp, high-contrast appearance that works well for retail displays, promotional signage, and other customer-facing graphics.
Second Surface Printing
For a more refined result, second surface printing places the image on the reverse side of the material, allowing it to be viewed through the clear substrate. This protects the graphic from scratches and wear while creating a smooth, polished appearance. The material adds depth and richness to the image, giving the finished piece a more dimensional, high-end look. Second surface printing is often used for permanent installations, branded environments, and premium display applications.
White Ink Printing
A major advantage of printing on clear materials is the ability to use white ink. White can be printed beneath colors to improve opacity and color vibrancy, or used selectively to create transparent and opaque areas within the same graphic. This allows for unique effects, increased design flexibility, and graphics that stand out on clear substrates.
Because all printing is done in-house, we maintain full control over quality, color accuracy, and production timelines. Whether the goal is bold visual impact or a premium presentation, Testrite delivers transparent printing solutions tailored to the needs of retail, branding, and display environments.
